Chinwe is a member of the Firm’s Corporate/Commercial and Dispute Resolution teams. She has successfully represented clients in high profile debt recovery cases from leading banks in Nigeria. Chinwe has represented a major player in the insurance industry in several insurance claims one of which is a multi-million Naira claim against the company. She has also participated in several commercial arbitration proceedings.
Chinwe regularly advises on post incorporation and regulatory compliance requirements for businesses in various industries as well as obtaining relevant permits. She also advises foreign business on foreign direct investment, business entry requirements and immigration matters.
Chinwe has also been involved in advising multinational companies on doing business in Nigeria and is part of a team advising a foreign investor on its proposed partnership with a Nigerian bank with respect to providing mobile loan services in Nigeria.
Chinwe has successfully represented a multi-billion Naira property development company in several land disputes and has represented individuals and companies in multi-million Naira claims from property development companies.
